Frequently Asked Questions

1.How to use 4N35?
4N35 is a general-purpose optocoupler, which contains a gallium arsenide infrared light-emitting diode, and uses this diode to drive a silicon phototransistor. The package type of 4N35 is a 6-pin dual in-line package. The role of the photocoupler is to block the electrical connection between the signal source and the signal receiver, so that electrical interference can be better blocked. The optocoupler is used to avoid interference from external electrical signals. 4N35 can be used in AV conversion audio circuits; 4N35 as a general optocoupler is now widely used in electrical insulation.
2.Can optocoupler 4N35 be replaced by 4N33 or 4N25? What is the difference between them?
4N33 cannot replace 4N35. (4N33 is Darlington output) 4N25 can replace 4N35. (4N255, 4N35 are transistor outputs)
3.What does 4N35 forward voltage 1.5v mean?
4N35 is an optocoupler, and the forward voltage of 1.5v refers to the forward voltage of the primary internal light-emitting diode of the optocoupler.
4.What is the maximum input current of the otocoupler 4N35?
100ma.
5.4N35 is generally used in what circuit?
4N35 is a 4-terminal universal photocoupler (referred to as "optocoupler"), its function is to block the electrical connection between the signal source and the signal receiver, which can effectively block the electrical connection and interference. Commonly used in signal isolation transmission, switching power supply feedback control, etc. Common circuits include television power supply (remote control switch, voltage feedback control), switching power supply, electric vehicle charger and many other aspects.
