How to use 74HCT20

The 74HCT20 is a Logic Gate family IC with dual 4-input NAND gates. It can accept four logic inputs and output a NAND Gate truth table-based output. Clamp diodes are used as inputs. This allows current limiting resistors 

to be used to interface inputs to voltages greater than VCC. In digital communication, the NAND gate is extensively employed in buffer circuits and logic inverter circuits. The pinout and features of the 74HCT20 and 74HC20 are extremely similar.

Simply connect the Vcc and ground connections to power the 74HCT20 IC. The IC's typical working voltage is +5V. The IC's output voltage on pin Y will be the same as the IC's operational voltage.
