What is ADM3053BRWZ?

The ADM3053BRWZ is a physical layer transceiver for the isolated controller area network (CAN) with an integrated isolated dc-to-dc converter.

The device combines a 2-channel isolator, a CAN transceiver, and an Analog Devices  isoPower® dc-to-dc converter into a single SOIC surface mount package using Analog Devices  ' iCoupler  ® technology. A pair of square waveforms are output by an on-chip oscillator, which drives an internal transformer to supply isolated power. The device is powered by a single 5 V supply realizing a fully isolated CAN  solution.
