How to use BAT54A

BAT54A can be operated and installed in rectifier and protection circuit like any other diodes. The features of BAT54A are as followed.

  • Conduction in the forward bias direction (anode connected to positive voltage, cathode connected to ground)

  • Only leakage currents up to 0.1mA flow in the opposite direction (cathode connected to positive voltage, anode connected to ground)

  • During forward bias, a maximum of 1V appears at both ends of the device, and during reverse bias, the total supply voltage appears at both ends of the device.
