Also known as 2SC1815, the C1815 is a bipolar junction NPN transistor widely used in commercial and educational projects. It is designed for audio frequency amplification and high-frequency oscillator(OSC). The collector-base voltage of the C1815 is 50V, hence it can be easily used in circuits using under 50V DC.
