LM5002MAX/NOPB Description

The LM5002MAX/NOPB high voltage switch mode regulator has all of the functionalities needed to build high voltage boost, flyback, SEPIC, and forward converters with few external components.

75-V N-Channel MOSFET with a 0.5-A peak current limit is included into this simple regulator. Current mode control has a built-in loop compensation and line-voltage feed-forward for better input transient rejection. The switching frequency is configurable up to 1.5 MHz and is controlled by a single resistor. An external clock can also be used to synchronize the oscillator. Current restriction, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and remote shutdown capabilities are among the other protection features. Both an 8-pin SOIC and an 8-pin WSON packaging are available for the device.
