LMR16006YDDCR Description

The LMR16006YDDCR is a buck (step-down) PWM DC/DC regulator. With a wide input range of 4 V to 60 V, it is excellent for power conditioning from an unregulated source in a variety of applications ranging from industrial to automotive. In ECO mode, the standby current of the regulator is 28 A, making it suitable for battery-powered systems. A very low 1 A shutdown current can help to extend battery life even more. The operating frequency is fixed at 0.7 MHz (X version) and 2.1 MHz (Y version), allowing for the use of small external components while maintaining a low output ripple voltage. Internally built soft-start and compensating circuits allow the device to be used with fewer external components. The LMR16006YDDCR is designed to handle load currents of up to 600 mA. It has a typical feedback voltage of 0.765 V. The gadget includes built-in safety features such as pulse-by-pulse current limitation, temperature detection, and shutdown owing to excessive power dissipation. The LMR16006YDDCR features a low-profile SOT-6L packaging.
