MAX16054AZT+T Description

The MAX16054AZT+T is a single switch debouncer and built-in latch pushbutton on/off controller. After a factory-set qualifying delay, it accepts a loud input from a mechanical switch and delivers a clean latched digital output.

During switch opening and closing, the MAX16054AZT+T minimizes contact bounce. The state of the output changes only when the debounced switch input is activated by the falling edge; the output remains unchanged when the input is triggered by the rising edge. For usage in tough industrial situations, robust switch inputs withstand 25V levels and are 15kV ESD shielded. A complementary output, OUT, is the inverted state of OUT on the MAX16054AZT+T,  An external signal can drive the output flip-flop low using an asynchronous CLEAR input. When the power is turned on, the undervoltage-lockout circuitry guarantees that OUT is turned off. The MAX16054AZT+T requires no external components and is suited for use in portable equipment due to its low supply current.

The MAX16054AZT+T is powered by a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply. The MAX16054AZT+T is available in a 6-pin thin SOT23 packaging and operates in the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
