OP177 Description

The OP177 features one of the highest precision performance of any op amp currently available. Offset voltage of the OP177 is only 25 μV maximum at room temperature. The ultralow VOS of the OP177 combines with its exceptional offset voltage drift (TCVOS) of 0.1 μV/°C maximum to eliminate the need for external VOS adjustment and increases system accuracy over temperature. The OP177 open-loop gain of 12 V/μV is maintained over the full ±10 V output range. CMRR of 130 dB minimum, PSRR of 120 dB minimum, and maximum supply current of 2 mA are just a few examples of the excellent performance of this operational amplifier. The combination of outstanding specifications of the OP177 ensures accurate performance in high closed-loop gain applications. This low noise, bipolar input op amp is also a cost effective alternative to chopper-stabilized amplifiers. The OP177 provides chopper-type performance without the usual problems of high noise, low frequency chopper spikes, large physical size, limited common-mode input voltage range, and bulky external storage capacitors. The OP177 is offered in the −40°C to +85°C extended industrial temperature ranges. This product is available in 8-lead PDIP, as well as the space saving 8-lead SOIC.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is the chip of the OP177 model?
It’s a High-precision operational amplifier.
2.Does OP177 support single power supply 24V power supply?
Energy-saving can use DC-DC chip, series-type stabilized power supply is also OK, 19+19=38V, just drop to 24V.
3.OP177 is a peak holder (plus or minus 5V supply voltage), but when the input signal voltage peak is 5V, the output is only about 3.9V, what's the matter?
OP177 is not a full-amplitude output operational amplifier. When the positive power supply is 5V, the maximum output voltage is less than 5V. When the load resistance is greater than or equal to 10kΩ, the maximum output voltage can reach 4V. If the load resistance is equal to 2kΩ, the output It can only reach 3V. If the load resistance is equal to 1kΩ, the output can only reach about 2.5V. If your positive power supply voltage is only 5V, it is recommended that you choose another op amp with full amplitude output.
4.I want to build an integrated op amp tester, but there is no OP177. Is there something similar to this device that can replace it?
It is a precision op amp, you can replace it with the common OP27 and OP77. The parameters are similar.
