TIP102 transistor has a DC current gain range of 1000 to 20000. The transistor is packaged in a TO-220 package and has a number of properties that make it ideal for industrial applications. Collector to emitter saturation voltage is extremely low. Because the transistor's maximum collector current is 8A, it can drive loads of up to 8A in continuous mode and 15A in pulse mode with a maximum load voltage of 100V. The transistor has a 1A base current and an 80-watt collector dissipation. Furthermore, the transistor has a low collector-emitter saturation voltage need, making it perfect for battery-powered, portable, and low-voltage electronics.
