UF5408 is an ultra-fast recovery rectifier tube, diode, which is mainly used for internal high-frequency rectification and freewheeling of switching power supplies. With a current of 3A, a voltage of 1000V, a voltage drop of 1.7V, and a recovery time of 75ns (nanoseconds) packaged DO-27. The more prominent feature is that the recovery time is very fast.
The plastic rectifier features a glass passivated pallet chip junction, high forward surge capability, low switching losses and high efficiency. Color band denotes cathode end polarity.
The rectifier diode is a semiconductor device that converts AC power into DC power. Usually, it contains a PN junction with two terminals, a positive electrode and a negative electrode.
